NEVER GIVE HOPE, BELIEVE IN THE NAME OF LOVE...

President-elect Barack Obama first met fashion icon Michelle in the summer of 1989. Three years later on October 3rd, 1992, they were husband and wife. It's been said that the Obamas are the most fashion conscious and electrifying presidential couple to occupy the White House since the Kennedys, and it shows. Michelle Obama stood by her husband every step of the way throughout the entire campaign for president, balancing the job of being a mother, the duty of being a wife, the pressures of having her fashion scrutinized, and the prospects of being the future First Lady.
The two went on to tackle life's challenges together, from the passing of family, to Barack Obama winning the first senate race. Their adventures didn't stop there, as soon after Barack Obama officially announced his decision to run for president of the United States, a move that was unheard of in the history of the American politics. Michelle went from being negative about her husband's choice, to becoming one of the most valiant supporters of Barack Obama and his bid to be president.
In June, 2008, Barack won the Democratic presidential nomination and became the first Black candidate to run for president on the ticket of a major political party. Barack Obama had been setting milestones in politics and fashion since early 2000 and does not look like he's slowing down now. One can even say it was Barack's choice of Michelle to share the Obama name and her ability to prove politics is fashionable that won him the female votes needed to become president of the United States. It goes to show that a little love and faith can go a long way.
You can feel the profound sense of accomplishment in Mrs. Obama's glance when her eyes met with Barack's during the final presidential victory speech. No amount of words can describe the feelings between the two as they embraced under the eyes of millions.

History is in the making,
the world changes,
and nothing will ever be the same.
